Not to be blamed on any god, or to be escaped from, by praying to any god, or as a way to enter a heaven either. Just life.

Look at the whole of the Universe. So called good stuff and so called bad stuff is going on, all the time, everywhere. Why should we escape this?

But the crux of the matter is, how do we view this suffering? I like Joseph Campbell's idea. Which is much like yours.

My particular problem now is... I used to be able to really accept this attitude. But of late, it's getting harder to do so. Not harder to believe it... Harder to accept it with calmness. Harder to face the relative closeness of the end. The finality of it. The end of doing all those as-yet-undone things. Etc.

Not good for peace of mind and equanimity. -sigh-

And for this reason, I went out searching on the Net, trying to find others of my age, who might shed some light, on how _they_ are dealing with this issue.

And that, in a nutshell, is why I'm here.

'Aunt Amelia'
Aunt Amelia's Attic-

Dear you,-

Après le stentAuntie sezzzzzz...https://www.blogger.com/profile/16170232476926222740noreply@blogger.com
